These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Messages - SMS, Text & Chat (the "App"), provided by Amazun Apps ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. What the App Does

Messages - SMS, Text & Chat is a communication application that lets users send and receive SMS and MMS messages, organize conversations, manage contacts within the messaging interface, and personalize their messaging experience through themes, notification settings, and related tools.

2. Eligibility

By using the App, you represent that:

  • You meet the minimum age required to use messaging services in your country;
  • If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App;
  • All information you provide during use of the App is accurate and current.

3. Device Permissions

To deliver its core functionality, the App may request permission to access:

  • Messaging data (SMS/MMS) — to display, compose, and manage your text conversations;
  • Contact list — to match phone numbers with saved contact names;
  • Camera and media library — to attach photos, videos, or files to messages;
  • Notifications — to inform you of new messages in real time;
  • Device storage — to save attachments and, where enabled, message backups.

Denying a permission may reduce the App's functionality but will not prevent you from using its basic features where technically possible.

4. Your Conduct

When using the App, you agree that you will not:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, chain messages, or spam;
  • Use the App to harass, threaten, impersonate, or defraud another person;
  • Transmit content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, or infringes on someone else's rights;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's messages or device;
  • Use the App for any purpose that violates telecommunications regulations in your country.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any account or device found to violate this section.

5. Ownership of Message Content

You retain full ownership of the messages, media, and content you send and receive through the App. Amazun Apps does not claim ownership over your personal communications. Where the App offers optional cloud backup or sync features, such data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and only with your consent.

6. Network and Carrier Terms

The App relies on your device's SIM and mobile network to send and receive SMS/MMS messages. Amazun Apps does not control mobile carrier networks and is not responsible for:

  • Message delivery delays or failures caused by network conditions;
  • SMS, MMS, or data charges billed by your carrier;
  • Service interruptions caused by your carrier or device manufacturer.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All trademarks, logos, interface designs, and source code associated with the App are the property of Amazun Apps or its licensors, protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the App. You may not:

  • Modify, copy, or create derivative works based on the App;
  • Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App or any part of it;
  • Use Amazun Apps' name, logo, or branding without written consent.

8. Third-Party Integrations

The App may connect with or link to third-party tools, such as backup services, sticker/emoji providers, or advertising partners. Use of such integrations is subject to the applicable third party's own terms and privacy practices. Amazun Apps does not control and is not responsible for third-party services accessed through the App.

9. Privacy

Our collection, use, and handling of your personal and message-related data is described in our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in that policy.

10. Modifications to the App

Amazun Apps reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

  • Add, change, or remove features of the App at any time;
  • Release updates that are required for continued use;
  • Temporarily suspend the App for maintenance or improvements.

We are not liable for any inconvenience caused by such changes.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the App, or engage in behavior that we determine, in good faith, to be harmful to other users or to Amazun Apps.

12. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Amazun Apps shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including loss of messages, data, or profits — resulting from your use of the App. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any updates will be posted within the App or on our associated store listing. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable to Amazun Apps' principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
