Welcome to Messages: SMS Text App ("the App"), developed and published by Amazuna App ("we", "us", "our", "the Publisher"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you ("the User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

1. About the App

Messages: SMS Text App is a mobile application that allows users to send, receive, organize, and manage SMS and MMS text messages on their device. The App may also offer features such as message backup, spam filtering, customizable themes, and message scheduling, depending on the version installed.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country;
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement;
  • You will use the App in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.

3. Permissions and Device Access

To function properly, the App may request access to certain device permissions, including but not limited to:

  • SMS and MMS messages — to send, receive, read, and display your text messages;
  • Contacts — to identify senders and recipients by name;
  • Phone state — to detect SIM and network status for message delivery;
  • Storage — to save attachments, media, and message backups;
  • Notifications — to alert you of incoming messages.

You may disable individual permissions through your device settings, but doing so may limit or disable certain features of the App.

4. Message Content and User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of any messages you send or receive using the App. Amazuna App:

  • Does not create, author, or control the content of your personal messages;
  • Does not monitor, read, or store the substance of your private conversations on our servers unless explicitly stated in our Privacy Policy;
  • Is not liable for any message content that is offensive, unlawful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

You agree not to use the App to send spam, phishing content, threats, harassment, or any message that violates the rights of a third party or the laws of your jurisdiction.

5. Carrier Charges and Network Fees

Standard SMS, MMS, and data charges from your mobile carrier may apply when using the App. Amazuna App is not responsible for any fees, overage charges, or third-party carrier costs incurred through your use of the App. You should check with your mobile provider regarding your messaging and data plan before use.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Amazuna App owns the intellectual property rights to the App's design, source code, logos, graphics, and branding. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App;
  • Copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its components;
  • Use the App's branding or assets without prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (such as cloud backup providers or advertising networks). Your use of such services is subject to the respective third party's own terms and privacy policies. Amazuna App is not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services linked within the App.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information relating to your use of the App. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described therein.

9. App Availability and Updates

We aim to keep the App available, functional, and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time;
  • Release updates that may change or remove existing features;
  • Require you to update the App to continue using certain services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms & Conditions or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to other users, the App, or Amazuna App.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amazuna App disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered without delay, error, or loss.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amazuna App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of messages, or loss of profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the App after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to Amazuna App's place of business, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
